Over the following century, the domaine passed quietly from one generation to the next, remaining faithful to its appellation and its village. When Philippe Sauger took over in 1988, he inherited just 7 hectares — a modest holding by any measure. What followed was a patient, considered expansion: over the course of several decades, Philippe gradually built the estate to its present 30 hectares, never sacrificing quality for scale.
