The Wines Available at This Level

Grand Cru Burgundy Pinot Noir — access to many of Burgundy's 33 Grand Crus becomes possible here, particularly from smaller domaines and in less hyped vintages. Wines from Gevrey-Chambertin Grands Crus (Mazis-Chambertin, Charmes-Chambertin, Griottes-Chambertin), Clos de Vougeot, and some village Grand Crus in the Côte de Nuits.

Grand Cru Burgundy Chardonnay — access to Corton-Charlemagne, Bâtard-Montrachet, and some Montrachet wines from lesser-known (but often excellent) producers.
