DOMAINE PONSOT
Situated in Morey-Saint-Denis at the heart of the Côte-d'Or, Domaine Ponsot cultivates 7 hectares across argilo-calcaire soils and characteristic limestone scree of this distinguished Burgundian appellation. Founded in 1872 by William Ponsot after the Franco-Prussian War, the estate was among the first in Burgundy to bottle at the property — as early as 1921 — and to export to the United States. Since 2017, Rose-Marie Ponsot has led the estate, upholding the rigorous family standards that have shaped its Pinot Noirs for over a century. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for the precision of its viticulture, the geological character of its terroirs, and the consistency of a Burgundian style refined across generations.
