On the eye
Deep ruby robe with excellent clarity and depth.
On the nose
A refined bouquet of dark berries—blackcurrant and plum—with subtle notes of wild strawberry and raspberry. The aromatics suggest good maturity and complexity.
In the mouth
Broad and layered on the palate with fine-grained tannins and excellent balance. The finish is long and elegant, with lingering red fruit and mineral notes.
This wine shows its best alongside game, particularly venison and duck, or with well-marinated beef dishes. The structure and acidity will complement rich sauces and earthy preparations. Decant thirty minutes before service to allow the aromatics to develop fully.
