Domaine Saint-Nicolas is a wine estate in the Fiefs Vendéens appellation (Vendée, Loire Valley). Run by Thierry Michon. Around 47 hectares farmed biodynamically. Grapes: Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Négrette, Cabernet Franc, Gamay. Schist and gneiss soils. The wines express Atlantic influence with fine salinity and remarkable freshness.
Le Domaine Saint-Nicolas doit son nom à Saint-Nicolas-de-Brem, nom de la commune de l’enfance de Patrice Michon. 3 générations de vigneron, avec le même amour de la vigne se succède sur le Domaine situé sur l’ile d’Olonne. En 1995, le Domaine obtient la certification Bio et Biodynamie.
