A family estate at the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin since 1870

It was Louis Trapet who established the estate in 1870 in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, in the Côte-d'Or. From the outset, the family demonstrated an instinct for the finest terroirs: in 1919, the estate acquired its first parcel of Chambertin Grand Cru, one of Burgundy's most revered appellations, cementing a relationship with the village's greatest vineyards that endures to this day. Terroir: clay-limestone soils on the east-facing slopes of the Côte de Nuits
