CHATEAU LAFON-ROCHET
Classified as a 4th Grand Cru in 1855, Château Lafon-Rochet covers 41 hectares across two distinctive ridges on the south-western edge of Saint-Estèphe, over deep gravels and gravel-over-blue-clay soils. Held by the Tesseron family for six decades, the château passed in 2021 to Jacky Lorenzetti and the Vignobles Cruse-Lorenzetti, who promptly committed to organic conversion — achieving official certification in 2024, with the first certified vintage to follow. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the seriousness of that organic transition on a first-rank Médoc terroir, and for the stylistic continuity the new ownership has carefully maintained. A Saint-Estèphe of genuine pedigree, now farmed in full respect of its soils.
