Breeding
16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, approximately 50% new wood
On the eye
Deep, intense colour with excellent clarity and definition.
On the nose
Expressive bouquet of red fruits—cassis and redcurrant—with subtle mineral undertones characteristic of the terroir. The aromatics develop with measured complexity.
In the mouth
Silken tannins provide both substance and finesse. The palate is full-bodied yet balanced, with a savoury mid-palate and a persistent, refined finish that speaks to careful élevage.
M. Francois
A wine of considerable poise, well-suited to beef dishes of substance and depth. Consider it alongside braised beef cheeks enriched with beer and honey—the wine's structure and subtle fruit will complement the richness of the sauce without overwhelming the palate.
