Breeding
16 to 18 months in French oak barrels, approximately 50% new wood
On the eye
Deep, intense colour with excellent clarity and depth.
On the nose
Expressive bouquet of red fruits—cherry and plum—with subtle mineral undertones and hints of graphite characteristic of the terroir.
In the mouth
Refined tannins provide structure without harshness, creating a wine that is both substantial and harmonious. The palate shows good weight and definition, with a persistent finish.
M. Francois
A wine of considerable merit with beef dishes, particularly those with rich, savoury preparations. The structure and tannin profile complement braised beef excellently. Also rewarding with mature cheeses and game preparations that benefit from the wine's depth and complexity.
