List of products by brand CHAMPAGNE JACQUART
Champagne Jacquart stands among the dependable references of the Champagne appellation, backed by 300 hectares of vines and a collective history stretching back to 1962. From its home at the Hôtel de Brimont in Reims, the House orchestrates assemblages drawn from all four of the region's great growing zones.
A House born of collective ambition
The story begins in 1962, when thirty Champenois growers decided to pool their efforts behind a shared marque. The brand was officially registered in 1964, and from the outset it carried the hallmark of a genuinely cooperative enterprise — growers with skin in the game, not simply suppliers to a négociant. In 1998, Champagne Jacquart was acquired by Alliance Champagne, a grouping that today brings together COVAMA and Union Auboise in equal measure. The move secured the House's long-term supply of fruit and consolidated its position within the appellation. Since 2009, the House has occupied the Hôtel de Brimont on boulevard Lundy in Reims — a fitting address for a marque that has always balanced ambition with rootedness.
Four zones, one coherent style
The 300 hectares under the House's umbrella span the four principal zones of Champagne: the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims, the Vallée de la Marne and the Côte des Bar. This breadth is not incidental — it is the foundation of Jacquart's blending philosophy. The Côte des Blancs contributes Chardonnay of finesse and mineral tension; the Montagne de Reims brings structured Pinot Noir; the Vallée de la Marne adds the roundness and fruit of Pinot Meunier; and the Côte des Bar, further south in the Aube, lends depth and body. Together, the three classic Champagne varieties — Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier — are assembled with a consistent focus on freshness and equilibrium. The result is a house style that is recognisable across the range: precise, generous and reliably well-balanced.
Winemaking and approach
As a House supported by two of the Champagne region's significant cooperative groupings, Jacquart benefits from rigorous viticultural oversight across its grower network. The blending team works with fruit from across all four zones each year, giving it the flexibility to maintain stylistic consistency regardless of vintage variation — a genuine strength in a region where the weather can be unforgiving. The House produces both blanc and rosé effervescent wines, with the blanc range anchored by Chardonnay-led assemblages and the rosé offering the freshness and red-fruit character that the appellation does particularly well.
The wines we list
- Blanc effervescent — Chardonnay-led blends from across the four zones, built for freshness, precision and length on the palate.
- Rosé effervescent — Pinot-driven cuvées with bright red-fruit character and the clean, balanced finish that defines the House style.
Why we have selected Champagne Jacquart
At Halles Quercamps, we are drawn to producers whose approach is coherent and whose wines deliver on their promise year after year. Champagne Jacquart offers precisely that: a large-scale cooperative model that does not sacrifice quality for volume, and a blending philosophy grounded in the complementarity of the four great Champagne zones. The House's ability to maintain stylistic consistency across vintages is, in our view, one of its most underappreciated qualities. We recommend these wines to enthusiasts who want a dependable, terroir-driven Champagne for the cellar, for the table or as a considered gift. At the table, the blanc cuvées pair beautifully with oysters, grilled fish or a fine cheese board; the rosé is well suited to charcuterie, light poultry dishes or simply as an aperitif with friends.
