Breeding
Ageing for one year in oak barrels
On the eye
Bright ruby
On the nose
Red and dark fruit aromatics with subtle spice notes, characteristic of well-sited Cahors fruit from the limestone terraces.
In the mouth
Rich and structured with fine-grained tannins that provide backbone without heaviness. The wine shows good balance and a lingering finish.
M. Francois
This wine pairs admirably with roasted meats—particularly lamb and beef—and develops well alongside aged cheeses. The fine tannin structure suggests it will continue to evolve gracefully over the coming years, rewarding patience with additional complexity.
