On the nose
Quince predominates, with delicate undertones of lychee and green apple, finishing with a whisper of beeswax and honeyed minerality.

Brilliant golden robe with luminous depth

Six months in oak barrel

Soleil d'Arche demonstrates the elegance that defines Sauternes at its finest. Pair confidently with foie gras, where its acidity cuts through richness with precision, or serve as an apéritif to appreciate its aromatic complexity and restrained sweetness. A wine that rewards contemplation.

CHATEAU D'ARCHE

Perched at 70 metres on the highest point of the Sauternes commune in the Gironde, Château d'Arche covers 55 hectares of graves and argilo-calcaire soils — a 2nd Grand Cru Classé since 1855. Founded in 1611 and taken over in 2005 by Philippe Boel, the château has undergone a thoroughgoing transformation: a 2,300 m² eco-responsible winery opened in 2019, HVE certification, organic conversion in progress, and deliberately restrained yields of just 10 hl/ha. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its viticulture, the precision of its botrytised wines from Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle, and its genuine environmental commitment. A reference Sauternes, rooted in four centuries of history and firmly facing the future.
