In the mouth
Opulent yet powerful, the palate balances generous energy with aromatic appeal. The wine combines structure and refinement, with fine-grained tannins and a long, measured finish that speaks to serious winemaking.
On the nose
Ripe, almost preserved stone fruit mingles with floral and spiced notes. Peony, powdered rose, cherry, white pepper and cocoa bean create an harmonious, layered bouquet that evolves generously in the glass.
On the eye
Deep, dark garnet robe with excellent clarity and depth
Breeding
Entirely in oak barrels for 26 months with 50% new oak and 50% one-year-old barrels
An excellent companion to red meats, game birds and venison. The wine's weight and spiced character also make it a natural choice with truffle-based dishes. Decant thirty minutes before service to allow full expression of its aromatic complexity.

DOMAINE BELLE
Domaine Belle is a family wine estate in Larnage (Drôme), Crozes-Hermitage and Hermitage appellations (Northern Rhône Valley). Founded in 1990 by Albert Belle. Around 25 hectares of vines. Grapes: Syrah (reds), Marsanne and Roussanne (whites). Single-vineyard cuvées including Les Pierrelles and Roche Pierre. Rolled-pebble and loess soils.
