M. Francois
This Saint-Émilion Grand Cru pairs admirably with roasted game birds such as guinea fowl, hard cheeses of character, and autumnal dishes featuring wild mushrooms. The wine's structure and aromatic profile suggest cellaring potential of ten to fifteen years from vintage.

CHATEAU VALANDRAUD

Situated in Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse in the Gironde, Château Valandraud is a Premier Grand Cru Classé B of the Saint-Émilion appellation, farmed across 10 hectares of clay-limestone soils by Thunevin SAS. Founded in 1989 by Jean-Luc Thunevin and Murielle Andraud, this château wrote one of the most remarkable chapters in modern Bordeaux: starting from just 0.6 hectares vinified in a garage in 1991, it earned Premier Grand Cru Classé B status in the 2012 classification. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its HVE-certified viticulture, the precision of its Merlot-led blends, and the extraordinary trajectory of a producer that genuinely redefined what Saint-Émilion could be. A Bordeaux reference we are proud to list.
