In the mouth

On the nose
Ripe dark fruits—plum and blackcurrant—mingle with spice, liquorice and subtle toasted oak notes. The bouquet is layered and evolves with aeration, revealing mineral undertones characteristic of the terroir.

Breeding
In barrels (predominantly new oak) for approximately 20 months
I have long admired Valandraud for its refusal to follow fashion. This is a wine of genuine substance—one that rewards patience in the cellar and pairs beautifully with game, particularly roasted quail with seasonal vegetables. It exemplifies why Saint-Émilion remains one of the world's great appellations.
