En 1955, Daniel Rion créa son domaine avec 2 hectares sur la commune de Vosne-Romanée. Ses fils ont repris, depuis 1995, le Domaine et ses 18 hectares avec les appellations Vosne-Romanée, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny, Echezeaux Grand Cru et Clos Vougeot Grand Cru.
