In the mouth
Suave and well-balanced, with silky tannins that are fully resolved. Good length on the palate, finishing cleanly with fresh pomegranate notes and a whisper of kirsch on the retro-olfaction.
On the nose
Vibrant bouquet of blackcurrant, bilberry and wild strawberry, followed by darker notes of blackberry, morello cherry and kirsch. The aromatic profile is both complex and inviting, with hints of redcurrant emerging as the wine opens.
On the eye
Deep garnet-red with rose-pink highlights at the rim
This cuvée pairs beautifully with a selection of cured meats and charcuterie. Its natural freshness and moderate alcohol also make it an excellent choice for lighter fare, including soft cheeses and cold preparations.
