Breeding
Ageing on laths for a minimum of 3 years in the House's renowned Crayères in Reims (UNESCO World Heritage listed)
On the eye
Brilliant, pale golden yellow with subtle amber glints. The mousse is fine and persistent.
On the nose
Delicate and fresh, with white stone fruit—Reinette apple and Williams pear—complemented by dried apricot. Subtle almond and hazelnut notes provide gentle depth without heaviness.
In the mouth
Crisp attack with ripe stone fruit character—greengage and nectarine—developing into a long, refreshing finish. The acidity is well-integrated, lending vibrancy without harshness. A wine of genuine finesse.
M. Francois
Excellent as an aperitif, or alongside poached oysters, seared scallops, or Dover sole. The wine's freshness complements delicate seafood preparations particularly well. Also suitable with lighter first courses and soft cheeses.

CHAMPAGNE RUINART

Founded on 1 September 1729 in Reims, Ruinart holds the distinction of being the oldest Champagne House in the world. Spanning 17 hectares across the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs, the House works chalk soils of remarkable mineral character, its Gallo-Roman crayères listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Chardonnay lies at the heart of Ruinart's identity, lending its cuvées a characteristic aerial elegance and precise tension. The House joined the LVMH group in 1987 and holds HVE certification. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this House for the consistency of its style, the depth of its historical roots, and the rigour of its viticultural commitments. A Champagne reference we are proud to list.
