Breeding
Aged in oak barrels and stainless steel vats
On the eye
Pale straw yellow with golden reflections
On the nose
Complex bouquet of dried fruits—almonds and hazelnuts—alongside white stone fruits. Floral notes emerge with a distinctive mineral undertone characteristic of the terroir.
In the mouth
Crisp, direct attack with subtle richness in the mid-palate. Toasted and floral notes weave through a firm acidity, culminating in a refined, slightly toasted finish with considerable length.
M. Francois
A wine of considerable elegance suited to oysters and shellfish platters, sweetbreads, and soft cheeses. The acidity and mineral structure will complement delicate fish preparations and aged goat's cheese. Cellaring potential extends well beyond ten years.

VIGNOBLE DAMPT FRERES

Based in Collan in the Yonne, Vignoble Dampt Frères cultivates 135 hectares of Chardonnay across the Yonne, Serein and Armançon valleys, at the heart of the Chablis appellation. Founded in 1982 by Bernard Dampt, a cereal farmer who planted his first vines at Fyé, the estate was grown by his sons Éric and Emmanuel into one of the appellation's most substantial domaines, central to the revival of the Tonnerrois vineyard. Their wines, grown on Kimmeridgian argilo-calcaire soils and HVE certified, deliver the crisp, stony minerality that defines great Chablis. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for the rigour of its viticulture, the authenticity of its terroir expression and the consistency of its range.
