Product features : Château Duhart-Milon 4ème Cru Classé 2023 Pauillac

Breeding
18 months in French oak barrels from Domaines cooperage (approximately 50% new wood)
On the eye
Deep garnet robe, bright and limpid
On the nose
A refined and layered bouquet. Blackcurrant liqueur and dark berry fruits emerge alongside a distinctive graphite minerality, characteristic of Pauillac's gravelly terroir.
In the mouth
Savoury and persistent, with good length and moderate power. The Cabernet Sauvignon's structure is evident, yet tempered by the silky texture typical of wines from the Lafite group's holdings.
M. Francois
This wine expresses the integrity of Pauillac's terroir with understated authority. It will accompany red meats, charcuterie, and richly sauced dishes admirably—a Gigot aux flageolets would be a particularly felicitous pairing. Cellar for five to fifteen years.

CHATEAU DUHART-MILON

Situated on the Carruades plateau in Pauillac, Gironde, Château Duhart-Milon is the sole 4th Grand Cru Classé 1855 of the appellation, across 76 hectares of fine gravels and aeolian sands. Acquired in 1962 by Domaines Barons de Rothschild with a mere 17 hectares, the château has been patiently rebuilt and is today managed by the same team as Lafite, with organic conversion underway since 2021. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot plantings, the consistency of its parcel-by-parcel approach, and the aromatic precision of its Pauillac reds. A classical reference for serious Bordeaux collectors.
