On the nose
Pristine aromatics of bright red fruits—raspberry and morello cherry—with wild blackberry. The chalky minerality of the limestone plateau emerges clearly, accompanied by dried florals and a whisper of white pepper from the Cabernet Franc.
In the mouth
Sculpted and elegant on the palate. The tannins possess refined, chalky grain with silken texture. The wine is dense yet never heavy, with excellent definition and balance throughout.
Benefiting from its privileged position on Saint-Émilion's plateau and limestone slopes, and drawing on the expertise of Château Canon, this wine is ideally suited to beef with pepper sauce. The mineral backbone and restrained power make it a natural partner for substantial dishes where the wine's structure can shine.

CHATEAU BERLIQUET
Established on 9 hectares on the edge of Saint-Émilion village, Château Berliquet is among the appellation's most historically rooted estates, with origins dating to 1768. Acquired in 2017 by Maison Chanel — already owners of neighbouring Château Canon — the château is directed by Nicolas Audebert across limestone plateau and brown clay soils, producing structured, precise reds from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for the rigour of its viticulture, the coherence of its encépagement with the Saint-Émilion terroir, and the exacting standards set since the change of ownership. A Saint-Émilion of real character: historically grounded and resolutely precise.
