DOMAINE ALBERT MOROT

Established across 8 hectares of south-east-facing slopes in Beaune, Côte-d'Or, Domaine Albert Morot is one of the appellation's most enduring addresses, with roots stretching back to 1820. In 2023, Guillaume and Sophie Poitrinal took over the estate, bringing in Rhône-trained winemaker Pierre-Jean Villa to steer a new course — one that honours the estate's Burgundian heritage while bringing fresh precision to its limestone, sandy and clay soils, farmed organically since the 2015 vintage. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the rigour of its organic conversion, the clarity of its Pinot Noir reds and the freshness of its Chardonnay whites, each a faithful expression of Beaune's varied terroirs. A dependable reference for those seeking Burgundy at its most parcel-true.
