Château La Violette is an estate in the Pomerol appellation (Bordeaux, Right Bank). Area: 4 hectares. Owned by Catherine Péré-Vergé. Grape: Merlot (100%). Blue clay soils on the Pomerol plateau. Micro-cuvée of exceptional concentration and depth. Wooden-vat vinification. Aged in new barrels. Limited production of around 6,000 bottles.
