Product features : Château Clinet 2010 Pomerol Red 75cl

Breeding
Approximately 16 months in French oak barrels (of which approximately 75% new wood).
On the eye
Deep garnet red, with good colour intensity. A wine that shows its age and structure visually.
On the nose
Aromas of dark berries, violet, rose petal, and warm spice. The bouquet is layered and evolves in the glass, revealing secondary notes of leather and tobacco leaf with aeration.
In the mouth
Excellent balance between richness and finesse. The palate is structured and complete, with fine tannins that frame the fruit without dominating. A long, composed finish.
M. Francois
I would pair this with a bavette steak, dressed simply with a peppercorn sauce and seasonal vegetables. The wine's structure and subtle spice complement beef beautifully. This is a wine for the table, not the trophy cabinet—decant it an hour before service and enjoy it at its best.

CHATEAU CLINET

On the high plateau of Pomerol, Château Clinet works 11 hectares of deep clay and Günzian gravels at the heart of one of Bordeaux's most sought-after appellations. With vines recorded as far back as 1595, this is among the oldest properties in Pomerol; since Jean-Louis Laborde acquired it in 1999, and with Ronan Laborde at the helm from 2003, the estate has been steered with quiet rigour — earning HVE certification in 2021. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the precision of its terroir — iron-rich crasse de fer, clay, and sand — and for a style that expresses Pomerol with honesty and without artifice. A Bordeaux reference we are genuinely proud to list.
