Château Jean Faure covers 18 hectares on the slopes and plateau of Saint-Émilion, a Grand Cru Classé estate farmed in certified organic and biodynamic viticulture (Demeter, 2023) on clay, gravel, and ferruginous sand. First documented in 1763, the château regained its Grand Cru Classé status in 2012 under Olivier Decelle, who has since driven a thorough conversion to biodynamics. Cabernet Franc and Merlot dominate the blend, expressing the distinct character of the commune's hillsides and plateau with real precision. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its agronomic approach and the typicity of its reds, firmly rooted in the identity of the appellation.
