Harmonious style between virtuosity and refinement

  • This rosé Champagne results from a carefully considered assemblage of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, two complementary varieties that together express the house's commitment to balanced winemaking.
  • The wine offers bubbles of genuine finesse and lightness, delivering an elegant mouthfeel that reflects the precision of Deutz's approach to traditional méthode champenoise.
  • Amour de Deutz possesses considerable ageing potential. The structure and complexity built into this vintage suggest it will develop further complexity over the coming years when stored correctly.

Breeding
Predominantly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruit character
On the eye
Rose gold in colour, with a luminous, inviting appearance
On the nose
Red fruit aromas predominate: raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant, with subtle floral undertones characteristic of the house style
In the mouth
The palate echoes the red fruit character found on the nose, with an underlying mineral quality and a persistent, refined finish that speaks to the wine's careful balance
M. Francois
The defining characteristic of this vintage is the equilibrium between power and delicacy. The Pinot Noir provides structure and depth, whilst the Chardonnay contributes elegance and finesse. This interplay creates a rosé Champagne of considerable sophistication—neither heavy nor insubstantial, but rather a wine of genuine complexity that rewards careful tasting.

CHAMPAGNE DEUTZ

Established in Aÿ (Marne) since 1838, Champagne Deutz cultivates 42 hectares across the grand cru slopes of Aÿ, the Montagne de Reims, and the Côte des Blancs, on the region's characteristic chalk soils. Founded by two Prussian merchants, the House passed through five generations of the Lallier family before joining the Louis Roederer group in 1993 — a partnership that has sharpened its signature style: precise, elegant assemblages of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this House for the consistency of its cuvées, the clarity of its house style, and its deep roots in the terroir of Aÿ. A Champagne reference we have championed with conviction for many years.
