  • A powerful and vibrant wine in its youth, displaying the characteristic structure and intensity expected of a Saint-Julien of this standing. The 2022 vintage expresses the appellation's classic profile with considerable vigour.
  • With bottle age, the wine develops the refined secondary characteristics typical of great Saint-Julien: delicate notes of cedarwood, liquorice, and tobacco emerge, adding complexity and elegance to the initial fruit-forward expression.

Breeding
Ageing of 21 months, 50% new oak barrels
M. Francois
This wine pairs excellently with beef dishes, particularly those with Asian-inspired marinades and spice. The wine's structure and secondary flavours complement grilled or braised beef preparations, whilst the acidity provides balance against rich sauces and aromatic seasonings.

CHATEAU LAGRANGE

Château Lagrange spans 118 hectares at Saint-Julien-Beychevelle, on the highest günzian gravel ridges in the appellation, reaching 24 metres at their peak. First recorded in 1631 and classified as a 3rd Grand Cru Classé in 1855, the château was acquired by the Suntory group in 1983 and transformed through one of the Médoc's most thorough renovation programmes — restoring both vineyard and cellars to their rightful standing. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the consistency of its vintages, the precision of its Cabernet Sauvignon-led blend, and the genuine alignment between its historic classification and the quality we find in the glass. A benchmark Saint-Julien: HVE-certified, firmly structured, and built for the cellar.
