Set across 4 hectares on the heart of the Pomerol plateau, Château l'Église-Clinet stands among the most respected addresses in this Gironde appellation. Founded in 1882, the château was elevated to its current standing by Denis Durantou from 1983: yields deliberately held to 35 hl/ha, deep clay soils and a characteristic iron-rich subsoil that lend its reds remarkable density and precision. Since 2020, his wife and daughters — Marie Reilhac, Alix, Noémie and Constance Durantou — have carried the estate forward with the same rigour. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the integrity of its terroir, the discipline of its viticulture, and the quiet authority of wines built to age gracefully.
