CHATEAU TROTANOY

Set across 7 hectares on the western slope of the Pomerol plateau in Gironde, Château Trotanoy has stood among the appellation's foremost references since the late eighteenth century. Acquired by Jean-Pierre Moueix in 1953, the château is now guided by the third generation of the family — Édouard Moueix — farming deep black clays and iron-rich subsoils that give the Merlot a characteristic density and complexity. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the integrity of its terroir, the consistent rigour of its winemaking, and the depth of its reds, which sit firmly within the great tradition of Pomerol. A name we recommend without hesitation to serious lovers of Right Bank Bordeaux.
