CHATEAU SIGALAS RABAUD
Set on 14 hectares in Bommes, Gironde, Château Sigalas Rabaud is the smallest Premier Cru Classé in the 1855 Classification, producing exclusively sweet white wines under the Sauternes appellation. Acquired by Henri de Sigalas in 1863, it has been in the de Lambert des Granges family since 1950, now at its sixth generation. Silico-clayey gravels oriented due south, restrained yields of 17 hl/ha, and HVE and Terra Vitis certifications reflect a rigorous viticulture. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for the precision and balance of its liquoreux — concentrated yet fresh — and for the consistency of a first-rank terroir tended with exacting care across six generations.
