CLOS HAUT-PEYRAGUEY
Established on the slopes of Bommes in the Gironde, Clos Haut-Peyraguey covers 12 hectares of gravelly-sandy soils at the heart of the Sauternes appellation, classified Premier Cru in 1855. Rooted in a history stretching back to 1618, this château was divided in 1879 and passed to the Pauly family in 1914, before Bernard Magrez acquired it in 2012 and steered it towards HVE certification. Sémillon, complemented by Sauvignon Blanc, delivers the hallmark richness and freshness of great Bommes liquoreux. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its parcel-by-parcel viticulture and the consistent precision of its vintages since the change of ownership. A dependable reference for lovers of fine Sauternes.
