Breeding
Aged 14 months in French oak barrels.

Deep ruby in colour, bright and limpid, with excellent clarity and fluidity.

Blackcurrant and white pepper notes, with the mineral character of garrigue. The bouquet speaks of the wine's southern provenance without excess.
In the mouth
Rich, ripe fruit balanced by elegant structure. Silky tannins support notes of cedarwood and sandalwood in the finish. A wine of complexity and restraint, neither heavy nor over-oaked.

Based in Cessenon-sur-Orb in the Hérault, Domaine Laurent Miquel farms 200 hectares under certified organic agriculture across the Languedoc appellation. A winemaking family since 1791, Laurent — a trained engineer — took over in 1996 as the eighth generation and made history as the first producer to grow Albariño in France. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the coherence of its viticultural project, the diversity of its terroirs — limestone at Cazal Viel, clay-limestone at Auzines — and the precision of its reds, whites, and rosés.
