Breeding
This tawny is a blend of red wines from different harvests with an average age of 10 years. Its body and richness of flavours transport us to its production location, Quinta de Ervamoira.
On the eye
Burnished amber-red with subtle greenish glints, characteristic of a mature tawny Porto
On the nose
Generous and rounded bouquet revealing candied orange, apricot and dried plum, with notes of vanilla and the distinctive aged character of fine tawny. Fruit-forward yet complex.
In the mouth
Fresh fruit character persists on the palate, supported by fine structure and excellent balance between fruit, alcohol and acidity. Finishes with a subtle, refreshing note that lingers pleasantly.
M. Francois
This Porto complements dried-fruit based desserts, particularly those with orange and egg, exceptionally well. It also pairs beautifully with savoury preparations such as warm seafood salads with tomato and onion. Serve slightly cool to appreciate its nuanced character.
