Product features : Chateau Duhart-Milon – 4eme Cru Classé 2020 — Pauillac

Breeding
18 months in French oak barrels from Domaines cooperage (approximately 50% new wood)
On the eye
Deep garnet robe, limpid and luminous
On the nose
A refined and complex bouquet. Blackcurrant liqueur and dark berry fruit are complemented by a distinctive graphite minerality, characteristic of fine Pauillac.
In the mouth
Savoury and persistent on the palate, with considerable length. The power of Cabernet Sauvignon is evident, yet tempered by the silken texture typical of the Lafite group's house style.
M. Francois
This wine embodies the directness and purity of Pauillac's terroir. It will accompany charcuterie, roasted red meats, and classic French braises with aplomb—a leg of lamb with flageolets would be particularly felicitous.

CHATEAU DUHART-MILON

Situated on the Carruades plateau in Pauillac, Gironde, Château Duhart-Milon is the sole 4th Grand Cru Classé 1855 of the appellation, across 76 hectares of fine gravels and aeolian sands. Acquired in 1962 by Domaines Barons de Rothschild with a mere 17 hectares, the château has been patiently rebuilt and is today managed by the same team as Lafite, with organic conversion underway since 2021. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot plantings, the consistency of its parcel-by-parcel approach, and the aromatic precision of its Pauillac reds. A classical reference for serious Bordeaux collectors.
