  • The 2020 displays a solid tannin structure with considerable concentration. The wine possesses the depth and complexity that rewards careful cellaring, developing further nuance and refinement over the coming years.

In the mouth
Rich and profound on the palate, with layers of flavour that unfold gradually. The tannins are well-integrated, supporting a complex finish that lingers with quiet authority.
On the nose
Ripe dark fruits mingle with warm spice, liquorice and subtle toasted oak notes. The bouquet speaks of careful barrel ageing and the wine's underlying concentration.
On the eye
Garnet with good depth of colour
Breeding
In barrels (predominantly new oak) for approximately 20 months
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted game birds—roasted quail with seasonal vegetables would be an inspired choice. The wine's structure and complexity also suit beef dishes and aged cheeses. Decant one hour before service to allow the wine to breathe and reveal its full character.
