CHATEAU D'AYDIE

At the foot of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Château d'Aydie farms 58 hectares on the sun-drenched slopes of Aydie, at the heart of one of the South-West's most distinctive appellations, Madiran. Founded in 1927 by Frédéric Laplace and still in family hands, the estate has made Tannat its calling card: dense, structured reds built for the cellar, alongside whites drawn from Petit and Gros Manseng. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this estate for the integrity of its HVE-certified vineyard, the diversity of its soils — argilo-calcaires, gravelly terraces and boulbènes — and the remarkable consistency of its wines across vintages. A reliable reference for anyone who wants the true character of the South-West, without compromise.
