  • As the second wine of the prestigious Château Haut-Brion, Le Clarence benefits from identical viticultural practices and the same exceptional terroir that define its celebrated elder, yet with its own distinct personality.
  • Les Halles de Quercamps offers this distinguished Bordeaux at a fair proprietary price, reflecting our direct relationship with the château and our commitment to representing fine wines without unnecessary markup.

CHATEAU HAUT-BRION

Planted on the gravel ridges of Pessac in the Gironde, Château Haut-Brion is the sole château outside the Médoc to have been classified Premier Grand Cru in 1855, across 51 hectares of Pessac-Léognan. Founded in 1525 and acquired in 1935 by American banker Clarence Dillon, the château is today directed by Domaine Clarence Dillon SAS under the chairmanship of Prince Robert de Luxembourg. Its long-lived reds and precisely crafted dry whites stand as an absolute reference point for Bordeaux. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the singular character of its graves terroir, the remarkable consistency of its vintages, and the position it has held, across five centuries, at the summit of the Pessac-Léognan appellation. An essential reference for any serious lover of Bordeaux.
