In the mouth
The attack is full and rounded, with no harsh edges. Tannins are harmonious and well-integrated. The mid-palate shows good depth, whilst the finish is long and persistent, leaving a balanced impression of fruit and subtle earthiness.
On the nose
Aromas of ripe red fruits—cherry and plum—with subtle herbal undertones characteristic of organically farmed vineyards. The bouquet is clean and inviting, without excessive oak.

CHATEAU QUATRE RIEUX
Situated in Sainte-Colombe in the Gironde, Château Quatre Rieux farms 20 hectares of clay-limestone soils under the Bordeaux appellation, planted to Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Thibeau family took over in 2000 with the drive of young farmers, committing to organic viticulture as early as 2009 and earning full certification in 2012. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour and consistency of its approach: a genuine organic conversion carried through with conviction, producing red Bordeaux that speak honestly of their calcareous terroir without artifice. A family château that delivers, glass after glass.
