  • The Petit Verdot variety expresses itself through rich tannins and pronounced aromatics, offering a muscular alternative to classical Bordeaux blends with notably floral and spiced dimensions.

CHATEAU LA TOUR DE BY

Set on 94 hectares of gravelly soils at Bégadan in the northern Médoc, Château la Tour de By produces red, white and rosé wines under the Bordeaux appellation, across two well-exposed gravel ridges facing the Gironde. Founded in 1599 and acquired in 1965 by Marc Pagès, the château is today run by his grandsons Frédéric Le Clerc and Benjamin Richer de Forges. The blend is led by Cabernet-Sauvignon at 60%, supported by Merlot and Petit Verdot, delivering the structure and definition that Médoc gravel terroir does so well. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for the reliability of its vintages, its clear terroir expression, and its HVE certification. A dependable reference for lovers of structured Médoc.
