Château La Tour de By is a wine estate in the Médoc appellation (Bordeaux). Area: 74 hectares. Owned by the Lapalu family. Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (36%), Petit Verdot (4%). Gravel-over-limestone soils. Classified Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. One of the most acclaimed estates in the Médoc appellation. Structured, elegant wines for ageing.
