Product features : Chateau Couhins - Pessac-Leognan Grand Cru Classé 2017 — Pessac-Léognan

Breeding
12 months in French oak barrels (30% new), amphora and stainless steel vats
On the eye
Deep garnet-red with profound colour. A wine of visual restraint and classical poise.
On the nose
Complex and distinctly Pessac in character. The bouquet balances ripe fruit with mineral terroir expression, revealing layers with aeration.
In the mouth
Tannins are precise and measured—the work of technical expertise. Medium-bodied, the wine privileges elegance over raw power, with a structure built for longevity.
M. Francois
Château Couhins Rouge appeals to those who value precision and intellectual rigour in wine. This is Pessac-Léognan without ostentation: everything in its place. Where neighbours may offer opulence, Couhins excels in freshness and drinkability. It ages with infinite grace, refining without fatigue. Pair with entrecôte bordelaise or guinea fowl with wild mushrooms.
