Product features : Château de Leoville Las Cases – 2nd Cru Classé 2017

Breeding
18 to 20 months in oak barrels, approximately 90% new
On the eye
Deep blue-black robe of impressive intensity and clarity
On the nose
A complex bouquet revealing layers of dark cassis, cedar and graphite, with subtle floral notes emerging as the wine opens. The aromatic profile speaks to careful élevage and fine oak integration.
In the mouth
Considerable depth and richness on the palate. Fine-grained tannins provide structure without heaviness, whilst the wine's aromatic complexity persists through a measured, elegant finish.
M. Francois
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted veal, particularly when accompanied by earthy accompaniments such as wild mushrooms. The wine's refined tannin structure and savoury character complement game birds and mature cheeses equally well. Decant one hour before service to allow full expression.
