Breeding
In oak barrels for approximately 12 months
On the eye
A deep ruby robe, dark and luminous, with fine clarity.
On the nose
Aromas of red and dark berries—plum and blackcurrant—with subtle spice notes and hints of oak from the élevage. The bouquet is composed and inviting.
In the mouth
Supple and velvety on the palate. The Merlot foundation provides immediate richness and flesh, whilst Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure and definition. A wine of balance and restraint.
M. Francois
A natural companion to the cheeses of the Aquitaine region. The wine's softness and fruit-forward character make it equally suited to roasted poultry and lighter meat dishes. Serve at 16–17°C to appreciate its subtle complexity.

CHATEAU REYNON

Spread across 33 hectares at Béguey in the Gironde, Château Reynon produces red, white, and rosé wines under the Bordeaux appellation, from deep graves soils over clay subsoils on south-facing slopes. Taken over in 1976 by Denis Dubourdieu, oenologist at the University of Bordeaux, the château continues a viticultural tradition dating to the fifteenth century, now carried forward under HVE certification. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this château for the precision of its blends, the character of its Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon whites, and the consistency of a winemaking approach rooted in the varied soils of Béguey. A dependable Bordeaux château, shaped by the rigour the Dubourdieu name stands for.
