Product features : Château Bellefont-Belcier Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2018

In the mouth
Elegant palate with fine-grained tannins and good length. The mid-palate shows depth without heaviness; the finish is clean and persistent, suggesting further development in bottle.
On the nose
Expressive bouquet of dark fruits—blackcurrant and plum—with subtle oak integration. Secondary notes of graphite and dried herbs emerge with aeration.
On the eye
Deep ruby colour with good intensity and clarity. A wine of substance and definition.
Breeding
This cuvée is aged 18 to 24 months in new oak barrels
M. Francois
This Bellefont-Belcier rewards patience. I would suggest laying it down for three to five years before opening, though it is already approachable. It pairs admirably with grilled beef, game in sauce, or a well-made daube. A wine that speaks of its terroir without ostentation.
