Product features : Chateau la Couspaude - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 2018

In the mouth
Substantial mid-palate weight with natural sweetness and fine-grained tannins. Good length on the finish, with a balanced structure that will reward cellaring. The wine shows both immediate appeal and ageing potential.
On the nose
The fruit-forward character is complemented by pleasant toasted oak aromas. A harmonious bouquet that develops with aeration, revealing layers of ripe cassis and subtle spice.
On the eye
Deep, vibrant ruby with sustained intensity. The colour speaks to the wine's concentration and structure.
Breeding
18 to 20 months in new French oak barrels
M. Francois
A wine of considerable merit with Saint-Emilion's classic food-friendly character. The richness and structure would complement traditional Bordelaise preparations—particularly lamproie à la Bordelaise, where the wine's weight and subtle oak would enhance the dish's complexity and sauce.
