CHATEAU FAUGERES
Situated in Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse in the Gironde, Château Faugeres extends across 42 hectares of calcareous and clay-limestone soils, south-south-east facing, within the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé appellation. Cultivated since 1619, the château passed through several families before Silvio Denz acquired it in 2005 and drove its ascent to Grand Cru Classé status in 2012. Merlot leads the blend, supported by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, delivering the fleshy, structured character that defines the finest Right Bank terroirs. At Halles Quercamps, we have selected this château for the rigour of its viticultural project, the quality of its limestone soils, and the consistency of its vintages since the takeover. A dependable reference for lovers of characterful Saint-Émilion.
