Product features : Chateau Monbousquet - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 2016

In the mouth
The palate is taut and well-defined, with ample, fine-grained tannins that provide structure without harshness. A long, fresh finish confirms the wine's balance and breeding.
On the nose
The bouquet unfolds with blackcurrant and plum, accented by exotic wood spice and a subtle toasted character that suggests careful oak élevage without dominance.
On the eye
Deep garnet with violet-tinged edges; a wine of evident concentration and maturity.
Breeding
Aged 18 to 24 months in barrels renewed at 60%.
M. Francois
This wine shows particular affinity with roasted lamb, traditional beef preparations, and duck with sauce. The tannin structure and acidity suggest it will develop gracefully over the coming years, though it offers considerable pleasure in its current state. A wine of genuine Saint-Emilion character.
