Product features : Chateau Monbousquet - Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 2017

In the mouth
The palate is structured and focused, with ample tannins that remain refined rather than aggressive. A long, fresh finish provides excellent balance and ageing potential.
On the nose
The bouquet opens with dark berries and blackcurrant, followed by notes of exotic wood and a subtle toasted character. Hints of chocolate emerge with aeration.
On the eye
Deep garnet robe with violet reflections, suggesting maturity and depth.
Breeding
Aged 18 to 24 months in barrels renewed at 60%.
M. Francois
This wine performs admirably alongside roasted lamb, traditional roast beef, or duck with a light glaze. Its acidity and tannin structure make it equally suitable for pairing with well-aged Comté or similar firm cheeses. Decant thirty minutes before service to allow full expression.
