A domain rooted in the history of Chablis

It was around 1850 that Honoré Geoffroy laid the foundations of what would become one of the most extensive estates in the Chablis appellation. Generation by generation, the family expanded and shaped the vineyard, establishing deep roots in the village of Beine in the Yonne. It was Alain Geoffroy who brought the estate to its current scale of 50 hectares, combining the roles of vigneron and public servant — he served as mayor of Beine for twenty-four years, becoming one of the most recognisable figures in the appellation. Following his death in December 2020, his daughters Cathy and Nathalie Geoffroy have taken over the stewardship of the estate, maintaining the rigour and continuity that have always defined it.

Kimmeridgian limestone: the soul of the terroir
