Based in Beine in the Yonne, Domaine Alain Geoffroy covers 50 hectares of Chablis appellation vineyards planted on Kimmeridgian limestone soils. Founded around 1850 by Honoré Geoffroy, the estate was built to its present scale by Alain Geoffroy — mayor of Beine for twenty-four years — before Cathy and Nathalie Geoffroy took the reins. From south and south-east facing slopes above the Serein river, Chardonnay delivers the precise, mineral-driven tension that defines Chablis. At Halles Quercamps, we selected this estate for the consistency of its cuvées, its clear expression of Kimmeridgian terroir, and its HVE certification across the whole vineyard.
