Le Château Pavie tient son nom de la pêche, qui au fils des années a laissé place à la vigne. Alexandre Valette, propriétaire du Château Troplong-Mondot achète le château en 1943. Le château Pavie est classé 1er Grand Cru Classé B dès 1955, puis classé A depuis 2012. Depuis 1998, Gérard Perse est l'actuel propriétaire. Son vignoble de 37 hectares, exposé plein-sud, se compose à 60% de Merlot, 30% de Cabernet franc et 10% de Cabernet sauvignon.
